Questions
How does remote tech support work?
You open a secure remote-support app on your computer and give us the ID and one-time password it shows. We can't connect without them. You see everything we do, and you can end the session any time by closing the app. Access ends when the session does.
Is it safe to let a technician on my computer?
Only let someone connect when you contacted them first. Never let a caller or pop-up talk you into it. With us, you start the session, you watch the whole time, and we never need your passwords: you type them yourself.
What does "per problem, no clock" mean?
One problem is one flat price, however long it takes. If we find a second problem, we tell you and you decide before we start on it.
What can't be fixed remotely?
Hardware that has failed, a computer that won't turn on or get online, and Wi-Fi equipment that needs to be moved or replaced. If a Remote Fix finds failed hardware, you don't pay. In greater Cincinnati we can come to you instead; elsewhere we tell you what failed and what to do next.
Do you help on phones, tablets or Chromebooks?
Remote sessions work on Windows PCs and Macs. For a phone, tablet or Chromebook, call or text us and we'll walk you through it another way.
