Notes for your kind of office
Accounting and tax offices
Under the FTC Safeguards Rule, tax preparers count as financial institutions and must keep a written information security plan, and use multi-factor authentication for anyone accessing client information. The IRS publishes a sample plan for small practices, Publication 5708.
We help you set up and follow your plan: two-factor login, backups, a list of your devices, and staff training. Your plan stays yours.

Dental and medical offices
If your business handles regulated data, such as patient health information, tell us before we start. We'll agree in writing how that data is handled. We don't act as a HIPAA business associate unless we've signed a Business Associate Agreement with you.
Without a signed agreement, we work around patient data rather than in it.
Law and real estate offices
Wire fraud usually starts with a taken-over email account, or an email that only looks like it came from you. Two-factor login ($39 per person, $149 minimum), email protection ($149) and a staff awareness session ($149) close the most common ways in.

Do I need a contract?
No. Every fix is a one-time price. Office Care is optional, month to month, and starts at $149/month for up to 5 people (introductory price for 2026).
What are your hours?
Mon–Fri 9am–6pm and Sat 10am–2pm, Eastern time. We reply the same business day. Office Care members get priority replies within 4 business hours.
Can you work with our existing IT person or vendor?
Yes. We work with what you have, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and your printers and computers. If the problem is inside another company's software, we'll help you work through it with their support. If you already have an IT person or provider, we can take the jobs they don't cover and tell them what we changed.
Can you supply the equipment, or do we buy it?
Either. You can buy it yourself, or we can supply it. Parts and equipment are quoted up front and approved by you before anything is ordered. The price we quote is the price you pay.
What happens if you're unavailable?
We reply the same business day during business hours. If we can't get to a job when you need it, we tell you when we can before you decide, and you're never charged for work you haven't approved. Office Care starts with a written inventory of your computers and accounts, and admin passwords live in a password manager you control, so your office is never locked out of its own systems.
Do you handle patient or financial data?
Yes, for everyday IT. If your office handles patient health information, tell us before we start. We'll agree in writing how that data is handled, and we don't act as a HIPAA business associate unless we've signed a Business Associate Agreement with you. For tax and accounting offices, we help you set up and follow the written information security plan the FTC Safeguards Rule expects.
How does Office Care billing work?
It's month to month: $149/month for up to 5 people (introductory price for 2026), or a free quote for up to 10. You see the monthly price and your renewal date before you pay, and there's no contract. Cancel any time before your next renewal and you won't be charged again. An Office Tech Checkup is credited to your first Office Care month.
